About Us: Pro Community Group, Inc. (PCG) is an innovative, socially-driven L3C organization focused on mixed-use and mixed-income development consulting. Our mission is to rejuvenate underserved communities across the United States by providing high-quality, affordable housing as part of our comprehensive revitalization initiatives. We utilize a holistic strategy that incorporates Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), debt, and equity to finance our endeavors. We collaborate with developers and general contractors and have built strong partnerships with faith-based organizations looking to repurpose their properties for social and economic benefits.

Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team as an Equity Associate, dedicating approximately ten hours per week. This role is vital to our goal of developing mixed-use, mixed-income projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to community development, excellent business planning and forecasting abilities, and experience collaborating with various governmental agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft detailed business plans and financial projections to aid funding initiatives.
  • Engage with investment groups, family offices, developers, general contractors, CDFIs, and private lenders with whom PCG has established connections.
  • Participate in discussions with churches and other entities interested in project repurposing – PCG is assessing numerous early-stage initiatives.
  • Involve in community real estate development and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to secure funding and form strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to the growth and sustainability of PCG through innovative and effective business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • MBA from a prestigious business school or a recently retired executive with substantial experience in business planning and forecasting.
  • Strong foundation in community development and real estate.
  • Exceptional skills in developing detailed and actionable business plans.
  • Experience collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Passionate about mission-driven start-ups and committed to making a national social, economic, and community impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a peer, dedicated to supporting the team's objectives.
