About Us: Pro Community Group, Inc. (PCG) is an innovative, socially-driven L3C organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in underserved communities across the United States. As a consulting firm specializing in mixed-use and mixed-income development, our goal is to transform distressed neighborhoods by providing high-quality, affordable housing as part of comprehensive revitalization initiatives. Our approach integrates Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), debt, and equity financing to support our projects. We collaborate with developers and general contractors and have built strong partnerships with faith-based organizations exploring site repurposing for social and economic benefits.
Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team as an Equity Associate, dedicating approximately ten hours per week. This role is essential to our mission of developing mixed-use, mixed-income projects across the nation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to community development, outstanding business planning and forecasting abilities, and experience in engaging with local, state, and federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft detailed business plans and financial projections to facilitate funding initiatives.
- Engage with investment groups, family offices, developers, general contractors, CDFIs, and private lenders that PCG has established connections with.
- Participate in discussions with churches and other organizations interested in project repurposing, as PCG evaluates numerous early-stage opportunities.
- Contribute to community real estate development and engagement efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the team to secure funding and build strategic partnerships.
- Drive the growth and sustainability of PCG through innovative and effective business strategies.
Qualifications:
- MBA from a prestigious business school or a recently retired executive with extensive experience in business planning and forecasting.
- Strong foundation in community development and real estate.
- Exceptional skills in developing comprehensive and actionable business plans.
- Experience collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Passionate about mission-driven start-ups and committed to creating a national social, economic, and community impact.
- A collaborative team player dedicated to supporting collective efforts.
