Senior Director of Apheresis and Transfusion Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pathologist to serve as Senior Director of Apheresis and Transfusion Services at Seattle Children's Hospital. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing anatomic pathology services and serving as a resource for attending physicians, nursing staff, and other medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anatomic pathology services to patients and families
- Serve as a resource for clinical pathology and provide expertise to attending physicians and nursing staff
- Ensure the quality of patient care and service, and integration of these services with Seattle Children's goals and vision
- Contribute to the hospital's academic mission and meet criteria for UWSOM faculty appointment
- MD degree and board eligibility or certification in Clinical Pathology
- Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's
- Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington
- Prior to start of employment, must obtain and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges
- At least three (3) years clinical experience in Pediatric Apheresis
- Training in an accredited postgraduate medical education program that includes apheresis
Seattle Children's offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $283,649-$425,464 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b), life insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
