Job Summary

As a Lab Supervisor Pre-Analytic, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pre-analytic laboratory team, ensuring seamless human resources management and technical direction. Your expertise will drive quality improvement, scheduling, and work distribution, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and competency assessment. This role requires a strong background in phlebotomy and medical laboratory assistance, with a focus on leadership and team management. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to the pre-analytic laboratory team.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Phlebotomist and/or Medical Laboratory Assistant required (ASCP, ASPT, AMT, NPA, NCC, NHA).
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Assistant required; previous Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Ability to work night shift hours (11:00pm to 7:00am).
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint required.
