Job Summary:
Sun River Health Valentine Lane seeks a highly skilled Patient Representative to provide exceptional patient-centered care and facilitate access to services in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily reception activities and ensure all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients on all aspects of service.
- Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients.
- Responsible for the scheduling of appointments, fee collection, explanation of services and charges for patient services.
- Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other appropriate materials.
- Verify all insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
Requirements:
This is a full-time 1199 union-represented position that may require rotating Saturdays. The starting rate is $17.25 per hour, with opportunities for increase based on experience.
