About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to join our team at The Cavco Family of Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting the sale of homes to existing customers and prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Area Sales Promotion: Assign areas to promote the sale of homes to all existing customers, and to prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities.
  • Trade Show Representation: Represent our company at trade shows to promote our product.
  • Work Ethic and Integrity: Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Effective Communication: Effective ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with co-management, internal, and external customers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to all existing customers; and to prospective retailers, builders, developers, and communities at least 30% of the time.

  • Architectural Space Planning: Architectural space planning skills.
  • Residential Construction Knowledge: Knowledge of residential construction.
  • Travel: Travel required up to 30% of the time.
