Position Overview
The Vehicle Rental Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role as the primary sales representative for vehicle rentals to existing lease and commercial rental clients, as well as prospective commercial rental customers and individual household needs. This position necessitates collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management while employing exceptional customer communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Marketing: Manage sales processes for inbound inquiries and outbound outreach. Execute the marketing strategy for the business unit. Maintain accurate data in the marketing database. Optimize pricing opportunities in the marketplace. Generate leads for rentals, leases, and used vehicle sales. Strengthen relationships with the existing customer base. Enhance operational efficiency by coordinating inventory levels to meet customer demand. Achieve Ryder's market share by effectively implementing sales and marketing strategies.
- Operations & Asset Management: Oversee the profitability, operations, and asset management of a rental location. Collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a thorough understanding of market conditions to maximize rental fleet utilization.
- Customer Relations: Drive revenue growth by nurturing and expanding customer relationships. Ensure overall satisfaction for all internal and external customers. Address and resolve customer concerns and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships.
- Communication: Foster constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain composure in stressful situations. Clearly communicate Ryder's product and service offerings.
Additional Duties
- On a voluntary basis and as per scheduling, the Vehicle Rental Sales Specialist may be required to serve as an On-Call Representative as determined by the Supervisor.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
