Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Loan Origination: Evaluate and structure loan requests, balancing Unity Bank's credit philosophy with the applicant's requests.
  • Loan Proposal Preparation: Prepare and submit to the credit department, an initial draft of the loan proposal, including collateral, cash flow and guarantor analysis, along with all other required documents.
  • Loan Presentation: Present loan proposal to senior management and or executive loan committee.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and report assigned loan portfolio activity to senior management as required by Unity Bank policy and procedures.
  • Cross-Selling: Cross-sell other Unity Bank products and business partner services.
  • Financial Analysis: Evaluate and analyze financial performance, including renewals and any necessary memos.
  • Reporting: Complete other reporting requirements as directed by senior management.
Requirements:
  • Education: College degree, preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years commercial lending experience
  • Skills: Knowledge of commercial lending parameters, self-motivated and able to work independently, proven track record of successful loan commercial loan origination's, ability to cross-sell banking products
  • Personal Qualities: Willing and able to travel locally, willing to work extended hours as necessary to attend evening business functions
Preferred Skills:
  • Technical Skills: PC proficient, working knowledge of software including Word, Excel, FISERV
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Moderate sound as in business office with office machines, computers, and people traffic
