Senior Relationship Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Relationship Manager is a key role in developing and expanding existing productive and profitable relationships with individual and commercial customers and prospects. This position requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, risk evaluation, and commercial loan collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze clients' financial and operating strategies to recommend alternative or additional financial services.
- Achieve sales and service goals by utilizing effective sales practices and implementing customer service techniques.
- Respond to and anticipate clients' financial needs, solving problems and providing exceptional service.
- Proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships.
- Gather financial information and analyze potential customers' and customers' creditworthiness and financing requirements.
- Minimize problem credits and/or delinquencies by maintaining high credit standards and timely collection efforts.
- Meet with customers on a regular basis to enhance the trusted advisor relationship.
- Respond to incoming emails and telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Prepare and coordinate documents for client meetings and presentations.
- Utilize the Bank's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for client activity tracking and pipeline management.
- Attend community and/or specific industry forums, conferences, and/or meetings to broaden relationship networks and referral sources.
- Refers opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
- Treat people with respect, keep commitments, and inspire trust.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy and show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences.
- Follow policies and procedures, complete tasks correctly and on time, and support the company's goals and values.
- Perform duties safely and report potentially unsafe conditions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and at least 7 years of related experience and/or training.
- Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, word processing, typing, and spreadsheet software programs.
- Intermediate math skills and ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of management procedures and ability to plan department or Company activities.
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
- Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.
- Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $95,000 - $160,000 per year, reflecting the full salary range. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
