Job Summary

Acton Medical Associates is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze patient specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and microbiology
  • Accurately report test results and maintain accurate records
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of medical laboratory science

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • MT (ASCP) registration or equivalent
  • One to two years of clinical laboratory experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
