If you take pride in maintaining cleanliness and safety, consider joining KinderCare as a Custodial Specialist. In this role, you will carry out a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for the children we serve.

As a Custodial Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing cleaning tasks such as sanitizing classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways.
  • Utilizing cleaning equipment and handling designated chemicals and products safely and according to guidelines.
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with KinderCare's policies.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in janitorial services; or an equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates comparable skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work safely in environments with cleaning materials, chemicals, dust, and noise.
  • Capability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
  • Physical ability to transport materials and equipment as needed.
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bending, standing, climbing, twisting, and walking.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English to communicate effectively with children and their families.
