Job Summary:

At J&J Ventures, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service to our patrons and ensuring a positive experience in our gaming area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all guests are greeted and feel welcome as they enter the store and receive responsive and courteous service at all times.
  • Remain up-to-date with monthly marketing promotions and effectively communicate them to our guests.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and ensure that all cash drawers and safes are properly counted before each shift.
  • Adhere to our company's "Line of Sight" standard and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our rewards program.
  • Navigate and utilize our GMS system to provide efficient service to our guests.
  • Inform supervisors of any gaming machine maintenance issues and follow company comp policy for snacks and beverages.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and interact with guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Address stressful situations with dignity and politeness.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of our company's policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Arrive on time and adhere to proper clock-in procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by following our uniform standard guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service industry.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to handle currency and coin.
  • Experience working professionally with other department personnel, co-workers, and management.
  • Proven experience providing high-level guest service.
  • Pleasant personality, team-oriented, and enjoys working with and assisting people.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to various situations.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
