The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in leading both internal and external initiatives to enhance and expand Pixelle's key regional and select national account relationships.
This position involves crafting a comprehensive customer relationship management strategy aimed at fostering robust connections with senior stakeholders at major accounts. The role emphasizes driving new business opportunities and executing marketing and sales strategies that align with Pixelle's objectives for growth and profitability. The Senior Account Executive is tasked with balancing a diverse range of responsibilities, including market analysis, pipeline oversight, demand forecasting, and business development across various product segments such as Printing & Publishing Papers, Digital Imaging, and Carbonless & Converting grades.Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes specialized market insights and advanced commercial paper expertise to cultivate new business opportunities and optimize product mix for enhanced profitability.
- Formulates and implements sales strategies tailored to service and expand large accounts, ensuring coordination with commercial leadership and support teams to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
- Establishes performance metrics and customer feedback systems to identify and target areas for improvement.
- Meets or exceeds established sales targets, including new business and product launch goals, while effectively managing travel and operational costs.
- Collaborates with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to progressively enhance product mix and margin over time.
- Works closely with Quality/Product Assurance to ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Oversees credit assessments, customer payment compliance, and provides informed credit recommendations in collaboration with Corporate Credit.
- Generates a rolling 18-month forecast for volume and pricing by account on a monthly basis, contributing valuable data for Demand Planning and the S&OP process.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Commercial Specialties Products portfolio to effectively identify opportunities during prospecting.
- Negotiates long-term contracts with necessary approvals and coordinates pricing strategies for strategic accounts and customer contracts.
- Communicates proactively with senior management regarding critical strategic matters and effectively resolves customer issues by engaging the appropriate resources.
