Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:
VestraCare is seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to assist in the development and implementation of planned monthly activities and daily activity schedules. This role will work closely with the Activity Director to create an energetic atmosphere for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out activity programs for residents, families, and the public
- Maintain accurate records of resident activity participation
- Transport residents to and from various activities
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to create a variety of activities that promote resident engagement and well-being
- Greet family and guests as they enter the facility for planned events
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
