Job Summary: The Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor will oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and security of our physical sites, ensuring efficient and safe operation. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee and provide routine maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to reduce downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Budget Management: Ensure cost-effective solutions and proper allocation of resources.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards, and conduct safety audits and inspections.
  • Facility Upgrades: Assist with facility renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train maintenance team members, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma required; Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Effective interpersonal skills and knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant maintenance software and vendor management systems.
