Job Overview

As a Mobile Facilities Maintenance Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems across multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your technical skills and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems, responding quickly to work orders and emergencies.
  • Inspect and maintain building interiors and exteriors, from walls and flooring to lighting and roofing.
  • Quickly troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and plumbing to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Stay up to date with local, state, and federal building codes, ensuring all work is done safely and correctly.
  • Respond to emergencies effectively to minimize disruption and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Participate in training and stay familiar with building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other critical building equipment.
Requirements
  • Universal EPA 608 Certification for HVAC work.
  • At least 4 years of experience in building engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 feet.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies and work overtime when needed.
