As a sales associate, you will be pivotal in bringing the Americannmade experience to life. You will provide outstanding customer service, meet personal and departmental sales goals, and exhibit extensive product knowledge to assist customers. Your role will involve creating a welcoming shopping atmosphere, greeting customers, maintaining merchandise displays, updating promotional materials, managing social media content, processing sales transactions, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter the store
  • Conduct tours of the sales area for guests
  • Inform customers about promotions and relevant information
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain office documentation
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Process sales transactions accurately and in compliance with POS systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person, online, and via phone
  • Ensure the functionality of store equipment and assist with its operation
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Receive, unpack, and restock incoming inventory and products
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks
  • Update promotional materials and product displays
  • Maintain store supplies and assist with cleaning duties as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Capacity to lift boxes up to 55 lbs
  • Frequent use of technology, including cash registers and handheld devices
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks within the store
  • Comfortable climbing ladders as necessary

Work Schedule

  • This position can be full-time or part-time
  • Availability on weekends and holidays is required
  • Work hours may vary throughout the week
