Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in your assigned territory, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including district sales managers, regional sales managers, and VP of local sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and territory activity.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations to provide valuable insights to customers and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and results-driven mentality.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays. You must be able to perform the following physical activities for the described length of time:
