Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our team at Nassau Pediatric Associates in Franklin Square, New York. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Room patients and handle documentation accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate patient care according to physician directives and company policies.
- Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms and other patient care areas.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, and manage scheduling, phone inquiries, and payments.
- Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
- At least one year of experience in a medical office; pediatric experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with AthenaOne is a bonus.
- Multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are highly valued.
- Hourly - Hourly Plan, 18.00 USD Hourly
