Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering relevant health information.
  • Monitor and complete clinical integration and quality improvement measures.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including strep tests, wound cultures, and specimen collection.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice clinicians with procedures, such as pelvic exams and allergy scratch testing.
  • Administer medications under physician orders or medical group-approved standing orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and physicians to ensure smooth clinic flow.
Requirements
  • LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required for Medical Assistants.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant.
