Job Title: Development and Fundraising Specialist

Description:

AFL-CIO Tech Institute is seeking a Development and Fundraising Specialist to support our workforce development initiatives. This role involves working closely with our team to identify funding opportunities, develop proposals, and build relationships with potential funders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with private foundations, corporate partners, and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure funding for workforce development programs.
  • Write and edit proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials.
  • Organize and facilitate funder briefings, site visits, and other events.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of securing funding for workforce development initiatives.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with labor-oriented and worker-centered programs is a plus.

Selection Criteria:

Applicants will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, and fit with our organization's mission.

Submission Requirements:

Estimated Salary Range:$80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
