Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the administrative functions of our audiology practice. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the patient scheduling process to maximize appointment availability.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, converting inquiries into scheduled appointments.
  • Support our commitment to patient wellness by actively seeking referrals from existing patients.
  • Implement appointment reminder protocols to enhance patient attendance.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience through courteous and timely interactions.
  • Verify insurance details and complete necessary documentation for hearing aid services.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development as directed by management.
  • Anticipate the needs of healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.
  • Learn to perform basic maintenance and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor and report on scheduling metrics to track operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in front office management.
  • Experience in a healthcare or medical setting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and printers.
  • Ability to work independently while being detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong teamwork skills are necessary.
