Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to join our team at Isys Technologies. As a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cybersecurity infrastructure to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult on IT and cybersecurity defensive architecture and technologies
  • Assess assigned Cyber domain to thoroughly understand the mission, architecture, and threat
  • Advise on technical design and implementation of Defensive Cyber Operations capability required to effectively protect, detect, and respond to cyber threats and attacks
  • Research cybersecurity defense technology options for best fit based on mission, architecture, and threat
  • Design, implement, configure, and/or tune Cyber Defense technology
  • Author documentation to include SOPs, checklists, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, crew binders, etc.
  • Adapt technologies to meet best fit for the mission architecture and threat. Technologies include SIEM, vulnerability assessment, discovery, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host-based security, PCAP, penetration testing/external assessment tools, forensics, etc.
  • Develop and tune cybersecurity tools and technology like Manicore, ELK, Kafka, Suricata, BRO, cuckoo, yara, etc.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in networking, including administering firewalls, routers, switches, Virtual LANs, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
  • Ability to access and configure Cisco Router IOS, including ACLs
  • Experience with Manicore highly desired
  • Experience with TCP/IP addressing and Network Address Translation (NAT)
  • Experience with Access Control List creation and troubleshooting
  • Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) troubleshooting experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance required
  • IAT Level III Certification required
