Trident Consulting is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance the security posture of our esteemed client.

Position Overview:

As a key member of the Security Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a cohesive cybersecurity framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security tools and platforms to safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure and sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and information.
  • Engage in diverse projects requiring a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
  • Manage security technologies including EDR, DLP, Web Proxy, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Create operational documentation, including playbooks and troubleshooting guides.
  • Support Incident Response activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of technology systems, including networks, applications, and cloud services.
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking and operating systems such as Windows and Unix/Linux.
  • Over 8 years of experience in managing and supporting security tools and platforms.
  • Background in information security functions, including security engineering and threat management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage with leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Security Standards such as ISO27001 and NIST CSF.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
