Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist, Sr to join our team at By Light Professional IT Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating information security and compliance initiatives, developing and executing security policies and procedures, and serving as the primary Cybersecurity SME.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to support the DoD RMF framework.
  • Apply current cyber and Risk Management Framework (RMF) protocols to complex networks and interconnected systems.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on cybersecurity best practices and risk management to the team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of remediation methods using various cybersecurity controls for systems and networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise with the risk management framework (RMF) process and experience responding to data call requests in support of an Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Certification.
  • Certifications: CASP CE, CISSP, or equivalent.
Security Clearance
  • DoD Active Secret Clearance.
Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is $110,000 - $138,000, depending on experience and qualifications. By Light Professional IT Services also offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
