Position Overview:


The Cybersecurity Agile IT Consultant is expected to demonstrate a strong capacity for independent problem-solving, identifying and addressing challenges related to the execution and development of operational initiatives. This role involves formulating and proposing long-term objectives and strategies.

Additionally, the consultant will engage in the design, research, and development of cutting-edge technological applications, leading to significant project decisions and recommendations.

This position entails conducting technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, as well as cost, risk, and supportability analyses for comprehensive systems.

The analyses performed by the Cybersecurity Agile IT Consultant encompass all phases of system development, including:
concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.

The consultant will ensure a logical and systematic transformation of customer or product requirements into holistic system solutions that consider technical, scheduling, and financial constraints. Responsibilities include performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to convert customer needs into hardware and software specifications.

Candidates must possess the ability to assess hardware/software deliveries for integration into operational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Generating reports.

Executing deployment activities related to data security.

Managing tickets, processing incoming requests, and addressing inquiries.

Maintaining documentation and facilitating communication.

Collaborating with Agile team members on data security initiatives.

Tasks involve monitoring and analyzing data to thwart unauthorized access, usage, or transmission of sensitive information.


Assist in configuring and managing security tools and policies, reviewing alerts for potential data breaches, and investigating incidents to ascertain their causes and impacts.

Work in conjunction with other IT and security teams to implement corrective measures and enhance data protection strategies.

Qualifications:

Essential Technical Skills:
Over 10 years of experience in large-scale data security and cybersecurity projects.

A background in engineering is essential.

Analytical Skills:
Proficient in data analysis, trend identification, and root cause discovery.

Technical Expertise:
Familiarity with fundamental cybersecurity principles, basic system administration, and scripting.

Customer Service Orientation:
Detail-oriented in reviewing alerts, investigating issues, and documenting findings.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
Skilled in developing solutions to aid the team in preventing data loss and enhancing user outcomes.

Communication Skills:
Effective in educating staff and collaborating with IT teams.

Open to continuous learning.

Preferred Skills:
Cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.

Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention principles and tools.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

DevOps experience.
