Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a key member of our Infrastructure Design Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for complex water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop drainage systems, including stormwater management and flood control measures
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using various models and methods
  • Prepare design plans, reports, and technical documentation
  • Mentor and lead junior staff and interns in the delivery of drainage and H&H functions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 8+ years of design experience in drainage, water resources, hydraulics, or hydrology
  • PE license
  • Working knowledge of hydrologic analysis methods, including single-event and continuous rainfall modeling, watershed analysis, hydrograph, and peak discharge development and routing
  • Experience with HEC-HMS, SWMM, TR-55, HEC-RAS, HEC-GEORAS, HY-8, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, FlowMaster, and other relevant software
