Job Summary

Staffworks Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and supervise operational efforts and functions of employees within a location/site to achieve financial and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure customer needs are addressed by communicating to client Management and requesting necessary resources to ensure needs are supported in a cost-effective, timely manner.
  • Team Leadership: Create a safe environment to attract and motivate employees to help service meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive problem solving using several established methods such as 5Y, WHY, and AD.
  • Quality Improvement: Act as advisor on overall quality of relationship, seeks opportunities, pulls resources, and implements actions to improve and solidify customer relationship.
  • Project Management: Apply knowledge of company processes, infrastructure, policies, and resources to plan, commit, and meet customer objectives.
  • Communication: Communication with internal company Senior Management as well as Customer Leadership.
  • Issue Resolution: Accountable for the definition of issues and tasks including the scheduling, coordination, and eliciting timely cooperation of both the client and the locations teams in order to accomplish the objectives.
  • Customer Service: Key point of contact with customer and addresses issues and concerns efficiently, effectively, and timely.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements while maintaining a Safety First workplace.
  • Collaboration: Provide cross-functional assistance in completing necessary projects allowing Dept. Heads to concentrate on meeting department goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Proactive coordination of team activities in planning, problem solving, decision making, and risk management to ensure continued support of program requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least four (4) years of experience working with TQM, ISO 9001: 2000.
  • Leadership: Working in a safety-focused leadership role managing at least 75 or more employees for at least five (5) years, preferably in a manufacturing environment or automotive; bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Time Management: Strategic time management skills.
  • Team Building: Team building experience and leading and engaging large teams and departments.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others in this area.
  • Software Proficiency: At least five (5) years of experience working with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and email software.
