Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Physician. Your responsibilities will include providing nursing care based on individualized plans of care, monitoring and documenting patient status, and informing healthcare teams of patient responses and changes in condition.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver patient-centered care that addresses physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, lab values, and other relevant data.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Administer medications and document administration according to policy.
Requirements
- Completion of an LPN program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
- One year of experience as an LPN or successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program.
- Licensure to practice as an LPN in South Carolina.
Work Environment
This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. The work shift is night, and the location is the Greer Medical Campus.
