Key Responsibilities
  • Set the Scene: Ensure that all tables are set up to the highest standard, with attention to detail and a focus on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Anticipate and Exceed Guest Expectations: Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, always maintaining positive guest relations.
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, and be flexible in responding to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality is preferred, but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. ServSafe and/or food safety training, and alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS) are also required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
