Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager for Money Market Mutual Fund Sweep, you will assume the role of the 'CEO' for your product line at SVB. Your responsibilities will encompass product discovery, strategic planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. You will ensure that your products align with business strategies, deliver valuable features to clients, and identify new market opportunities while tracking progress through key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:

  • Acting as the product owner to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with bank objectives and enhances client experience.
  • Developing product strategies based on your comprehensive understanding of money market mutual funds, sweep services, competitive trends, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Crafting detailed roadmaps that reflect defined strategies, evolving technology trends, client needs, and the benefits of potential initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth product operations and effective execution of projects and go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with vendors and fund providers, regularly communicating on market dynamics and conducting due diligence.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on money market mutual funds and sweep functionalities, providing insights to sales and customer focus groups.
  • Developing business cases that articulate the value and return on investment for your initiatives, incorporating success metrics and benchmarks.
  • Working closely with Finance, Risk, and Reporting teams to monitor product performance and key risk indicators.
  • Reviewing and suggesting adjustments to product pricing and fee structures in response to market competition.
  • Updating product documentation, client agreements, and internal policies while optimizing workflows where possible.
  • Proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams across Product Management, Account Management, Asset Management, Operations, Legal, and Sales.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma or GED with 4 additional years of relevant experience)
• 6+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Management Consulting.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in Bank Investment Sweeps, Money Market Mutual Funds, Deposit Product Management, or Liquidity Product Management.
• MBA, CTP, and/or CFA is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and analytical thinking capabilities.
