About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Booz Allen. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for translating larger program goals into well-designed project plans and assisting clients in developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate larger program goals into well-designed project plans
  • Assist clients in developing innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Work directly with clients to ensure tasks are managed effectively
  • Develop operational processes based on the ITIL framework
  • Empower clients through communication, ensuring the program achieves its goals and meets quality standards
  • Engage with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements
  • Analyze and translate client requirements into project plans, milestones, and operational processes
  • Create realistic schedules to manage and report progress
  • Write and deliver executive leadership-level communications and briefings
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management and IT service operation management
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense
  • Experience with the ITIL service lifecycle
  • Experience planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects
  • Experience with end-user IT hardware and software capabilities and processes for workstations, tablets, and mobile phones
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and network concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions
  • Ability to develop, implement, manage, or assess IT service management processes
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Navy programs or operations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and help lead a team
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Scrum Master, Leading SAFe, Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Delivery Management (APM), or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification
Clearance
