Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Kennel Assistant to provide exceptional care for the animals in our facility. In this role, you will ensure that all animals receive the attention and care they require. This includes tasks such as feeding, cleaning their living spaces, engaging them in activities, and providing exercise through walks. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of each animal's care, including their behavior and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to the basic and advanced needs of all animals, including feeding and hydration.
  • Engage with the animals through play and walks as necessary.
  • Perform daily cleaning of kennels and surrounding areas.
  • Wash and maintain bedding and toys for hygiene.
  • Assist customers or potential adopters with inquiries.
  • Keep accurate and thorough records of all animals in care.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in animal care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of animal handling techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
