About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients by monitoring their behavior and condition in real-time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients through live video feeds from cameras in patient rooms or other hospital-specific video observation platforms.
  • Identify changes in patient behavior or condition and communicate with on-site clinical staff to ensure timely intervention.
  • Document observations and actions taken to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Work Environment

Our Patient Care Specialists work from a centralized, virtual command center location in Tacoma, Washington, and are responsible for monitoring patients across multiple facilities in the United States.
