Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Designation Coordinator to join our team at the Department of State Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting designation surveys, evaluating facility designation requirements, and providing technical assistance to facilities seeking designation.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct designation surveys and evaluations to determine if facilities meet designation requirements. Provide technical assistance to facilities seeking designation, including consultation and training. Evaluate facility designation requirements and develop action plans to address any deficiencies. Collaborate with stakeholders, including facility staff and management, to ensure compliance with designation requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Must have at least five years of registered nurse experience in a Texas designated facility. Experience providing and directing the delivery of treatment and services in a clinical environment in hospitals. Must have experience in performance improvement or quality assessment. Prefer experience as a program manager.

What We Offer:
This position is eligible for telework. DSHS will provide computer, related equipment, and basic office supplies. Employee must provide office furniture and high-speed internet.
