Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre and post housing counseling to homebuyers, helping them navigate the homebuying process and make informed decisions about their financial situation.
  • Develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies to engage with potential homebuyers and promote our housing counseling services.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions and other stakeholders to provide homebuyers with access to affordable mortgage options and other resources.
  • Conduct financial assessments and provide guidance on credit management, budgeting, and other financial topics.
  • Work with homebuyers to develop personalized plans to achieve their homeownership goals, including identifying and addressing any financial or credit challenges.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in housing counseling, mortgage lending, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
