POSITION SUMMARY:

The Audit Associate is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and summarizing both financial and non-financial data with a strong emphasis on precision and detail. This role offers the flexibility of remote work or the option to work from our Rockland, MA office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend meetings to document key discussion points and action items.
  • Draft reports and correspondence, conduct holder research, prepare working papers, and perform various analyses as needed.
  • Conduct initial reviews of documentation submitted by unclaimed property holders.
  • Perform preliminary evaluations of holder responses, create summaries, and present initial recommendations to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred candidates will have at least one (1) year of relevant experience, though training may be provided.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred, particularly in accounting, business, economics, or finance; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing complex datasets and proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, logical formulas).
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and processes.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exhibits strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Motivated to learn and enhance skills, demonstrating a self-starter attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A positive contributor who values organizational culture and professionalism.
  • Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The salary for this position varies based on factors such as work location, experience level, and skill set. The hiring range for this role is $52,000 – $55,000, as mandated by applicable law.
