Associate Director of Technical Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our team in Los Angeles. As a technical accounting expert, you will lead strategic advisory engagements and manage multi-disciplinary teams serving clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex technical accounting advisory engagements and lead teams to deliver high-quality results.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising clients on technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and debt/equity transactions.
- Research and resolve complex accounting issues, balancing client preferences with US GAAP requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 7 years of technical accounting and transaction advisory experience from a top-tier public accounting firm or a combination of public advisory experience and reputable in-house corporate experience.
- Strong people, project, and client management skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex issues into simple terms.
- Strong analytical skills, sound interpretation of complex subject matter, and ability to generate meaningful insights.
- Ability to execute in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
