Associate Tax Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Tax Director to join our tax compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for domestic compliance and tax accounting for the Sports and Entertainment operations of Fox Corporation.
Responsibilities:- Review and prepare corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor and review quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions, ensuring timely payments and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting personnel to collect and analyze financial information for assigned business divisions, documenting calculations and assumptions to support income tax filings and forecasts.
- Develop a deep understanding of business operations for assigned business divisions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Provide tax support to other corporate and operating groups, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
- Assist with responses to tax notices, including correspondence with taxing authorities to resolve inquiries and disputes.
- Manage tax team members and/or consultants on assigned projects, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 7+ years of domestic income tax compliance experience, preferably in a nationally recognized public accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of domestic corporate and partnership income tax principles, including ASC 740.
- Excellent tax technical research skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax laws and regulations.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in pivot tables, Xlookup, and logical formulas.
- Major in Accounting and/or Master's in Taxation.
- Public accounting experience in a nationally recognized firm.
- Experience with Corptax, Alteryx, and Workday.
