Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process customer orders, including verifying insurance coverage and processing third-party billing.
- Assist customers with equipment delivery and pickup, ensuring timely and convenient arrangements.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns, using effective problem-solving skills and follow-up logs.
- Audit and confirm deliveries, pick-ups, and exchange paperwork daily, reviewing edit reports for accuracy.
- Track active rentals, automatic reorders, and concentrator maintenance, processing in a timely manner according to policy and procedure.
- Obtain prior authorization numbers and time frames from third-party payers, logging information into the database.
- Ensure all assigned procedures, including billing, posting, insurance, denials, inquiries, orders, and paperwork, are processed accurately and timely.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a clerical or customer service environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, filing, multiple phone line).
- Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills.
