Job Summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and processing customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process customer orders, including verifying insurance coverage and processing third-party billing.
  • Assist customers with equipment delivery and pickup, ensuring timely and convenient arrangements.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns, using effective problem-solving skills and follow-up logs.
  • Audit and confirm deliveries, pick-ups, and exchange paperwork daily, reviewing edit reports for accuracy.
  • Track active rentals, automatic reorders, and concentrator maintenance, processing in a timely manner according to policy and procedure.
  • Obtain prior authorization numbers and time frames from third-party payers, logging information into the database.
  • Ensure all assigned procedures, including billing, posting, insurance, denials, inquiries, orders, and paperwork, are processed accurately and timely.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a clerical or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, filing, multiple phone line).
  • Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills.
