Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction/Property Accountant to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of our properties and providing expert financial analysis and guidance to our Property & Asset Management Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis and prepare balance sheets, reserves, and capital expenditure reports.
  • Review and analyze general ledger adjustments and accruals, and ensure accurate financial recording.
  • Verify and approve invoices in our accounting system to ensure proper property coding.
  • Process payments for syndicated properties and prepare CAM and Property Tax Reimbursements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and property forecasts, and work with outside auditors to complete the annual audit and tax returns.
  • Prepare lender reporting requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Proficient computer and software skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and Yardi (or comparable property management accounting software).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.
