About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team at a top Real Estate firm. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the financial functions for our multi-family properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting functions for multi-family properties
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting and Residential Property (multi-family housing, or affordable housing) experience
  • Experience with Yardi software
  • Intermediate or higher level Excel skills
  • Proficient in transactional and standard report proficiency
  • Highly organized with demonstrable prioritization and deadline management capabilities
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative and superlative work ethic
