Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales and distribution of company products in assigned territory through local and national sales programs and initiatives.
  • Apply sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the territory.
  • Identify, target, and market to existing and potential accounts to maximize distribution, shelf space, and merchandising efforts.
  • Build share of mind with distributors by regularly attending meetings, keeping them informed of company initiatives, and tracking performance against key priorities.
  • Promote the 'Multiplier Effect' by training and motivating distributor sales reps on product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand pitches.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers in the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate marketing crew drives and create marketing promotions with customers, festivals, and events.
  • Use distributor data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, and incremental volume increases.
  • Record daily sales activity and weekly results as required by the company.
  • Meet and maintain sales goals set with the Regional Sales Director.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure company quality standards are understood and enforced by distributors and retailers.
  • Maintain an understanding of legal restrictions regarding company products in each market and ensure initiatives are executed within those limitations.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule and represent the company in a positive and reputable manner.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • High energy and a strong desire to execute and win at retail.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks on time and independently.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop lasting and value-added relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning and execution of timely plans.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong desire to grow professionally with the company and willingness to learn new skills and experiences.
  • Effective business planning and execution of wholesaler objectives and initiatives.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry, preferably within the Beer Category.
  • Experience in the selling and merchandising in the off and on premise retail account environment.
  • Knowledge and experience within the 3-tier system, with the ability to balance between the demands of wholesaler management and retail execution.
  • Data analysis skills, including knowledge of VIP iDig, Karma, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
  • Knowledge of common business/beer math to the industry.
