We are seeking a highly skilled Stealth Technology Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a leader in advanced technology, we are committed to developing innovative solutions that meet the complex challenges of our customers.

About the Role

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced stealth technology systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electromagnetic theory, antenna design, and radar cross section reduction. They will work closely with our team of engineers and scientists to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced stealth technology systems
  • Test and evaluate the performance of stealth technology systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in stealth technology and electromagnetic theory

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, mathematics)
  • 8 years of related professional/military engineering experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
  • Special Access Program (SAP)/Program Access Request (PAR) clearance
  • Strong background in electromagnetic theory, antenna design, and radar cross section reduction
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar computational electromagnetic analysis codes used by our competitors or customers
  • Complete understanding and capability to plan and implement Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex classified targets at nations premier indoor/outdoor RCS/RF test facility
  • Working knowledge of the requirements of other supporting engineering disciplines to help in achieving optimization of Stealth goals and a balanced design
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills to enable effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers
