Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as blood work and urinalyses, and interpret results.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication administration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a veterinary technician in New York State.
- 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic.
