Role Summary
The Campaign Legal Center Inc. is in search of a Senior Specialist in Employee Engagement to craft and implement strategies aimed at enhancing organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives while boosting employee satisfaction, morale, and performance. This position entails assessing engagement challenges and developing programs that elevate job satisfaction, retain talent, and cultivate a positive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the DEI Employee Engagement committee to provide administrative support and ensure they have the necessary resources for success.
  • Oversee projects and recommendations from the DEI Employee Engagement subcommittees, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Formulate diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies aligned with the organization's DEI objectives.
  • Establish and uphold an open-door policy to facilitate communication between employees and the DEI Employee Engagement committee.
  • Conduct surveys and collect feedback to gauge employee satisfaction levels.
  • Design and manage initiatives that recognize and reward employees for outstanding contributions and performance.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to create initiatives and programs that enhance employee engagement.
  • Organize team-building activities and events to foster collaboration.
  • Provide training and coaching to management on strategies to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Evaluate trends and adjust engagement strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DEI principles, best practices, and current trends in diversity and inclusion.
  • Proven experience in executing successful DEI strategies and programs.
  • Experience in project management and implementing organizational solutions.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and tackle challenging assignments.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in human resource information systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
