Position Overview:

The Sales & Front Desk Associate plays a vital role at Scenthound, dedicated to promoting memberships while delivering outstanding service to each customer.

Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience, particularly in membership sales
  • Background in customer service (retail or restaurant preferred)
  • Proficiency in technology and computer systems
  • A genuine passion for dogs and their health and wellness
  • Reliable transportation

  • Veterinary technician experience is a plus
Ideal Candidate:

We seek a driven team member who is enthusiastic about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is friendly, self-motivated, an independent thinker, and a compassionate dog lover. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career through our training program to become a Scenthound Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking ratios through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Generate membership leads and follow up with potential clients
  • Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles
  • Oversee cash handling and maintain the cash drawer
  • Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with Scenthound standards
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
  • Capacity to learn about our offerings and communicate our values and culture
  • Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and via phone)
