Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at Lawrence General Hospital. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Pre-Hospital EMS and C-MED departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll for CMED operators, EMTs, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Paramedics, supervisors, administrative assistants, managers, and directors, and transcribe all payroll notes into the ADP system.
* Utilize the ePCR program to process records requests, including patient requests, attorney requests, court orders, subpoenas, and Medical Examiner requests.
* Review EMS daily logs for completeness, identify missing or incomplete paperwork, including Physician Certification Statements, incomplete or missing ePCRs, and meet with EMS crews to resolve these issues.
* Utilize Meditech as needed to assist in obtaining missing information to facilitate the billing of claims.
* Oversee preparation for meetings by completing agendas, taking minutes, and booking conference rooms.
* Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates.
* Collect and track employee contact information, licensures, certifications, and confidential documents, ensuring all employee files are complete.
* Ensure staff compliance with department-assigned education and mandatory Healthstream assignments.
* Attend Committee and Departmental meetings; assist with PowerPoint presentations and prepare meeting minutes as needed.
* Keep policy/procedure manuals up-to-date for review or revisions as needed for TJC standards.
* Process invoices and supply requisitions using the Yooz system.
* Perform administrative duties, read, sort, and deliver mail, screen telephone calls, prepare correspondence, and act as a receptionist for the Pre-Hospital EMS Leadership Team when applicable.
* Use office equipment as needed and order necessary supplies from appropriate sources.

Requirements:
* High school diploma
* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Experience with database entries and lookup
* Familiarity with EMS and medical terminology
