Position Overview
As an International Sales & Account Manager at Better Being Co., your primary focus will be on expanding new distributor partnerships while nurturing existing international accounts. You will develop strategic business plans aimed at penetrating international markets, launching new product lines, building brand recognition, and increasing sales performance. This role offers a comprehensive experience across various business functions, allowing you to work collaboratively to ensure the success of all assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate detailed business strategies to enhance international market presence, introduce new brands, establish brand loyalty, and boost sales figures.
- Optimize sales processes to enhance profitability and reduce controllable costs.
- Assess sales performance and implement necessary actions to foster growth.
- Engage in daily B2B communications and deliver exceptional account management to our distributors.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication regarding various account management activities.
- Oversee international product development for designated accounts.
- Stay informed about international, cultural, and legal factors affecting sales.
- Identify, assess, and propose new business opportunities.
- Forge strong and effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
- Collaborate with various departments.
- Engage with third-party service providers such as co-packagers, raw material suppliers, logistics companies, financial institutions, and export-related agencies.
- Support and participate in company policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-4 years of international business experience or a master's degree with a focus on international business, preferably in the VMS or health and wellness sectors.
- 1-2 years of experience managing international wholesale distributor accounts, ideally in the VMS or health and wellness fields.
- Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of addressing practical challenges and working with diverse variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Adept at interpreting various forms of instructions, including written, oral, diagrams, or schedules.
- Skilled in analyzing and interpreting governmental regulations, technical procedures, and professional literature.
- Proficient in preparing documentation, writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to present information and respond to inquiries from government health agencies, customers, and Territory Managers.
- Competent in performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and interpreting ingredient weights on labels.
- Fluency or working proficiency in a second language, preferably Spanish, French, Danish, Arabic, Romanian, Korean, or Japanese, is highly desirable.
- This role may require occasional standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
- Employees may need to exert up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
