About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team as the Premium Hospitality & Group Sales representative for the Washington Spirit. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through premium hospitality and group sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize premium hospitality and group ticket revenue by conducting sales calls, attending weekly meetings, and actively participating in community and networking events.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and prospecting, focusing on corporate groups and organizations suited for premium hospitality offerings.
  • Conduct virtual, in-person, and phone presentations with decision-makers, tailoring premium hospitality packages and group ticket experiences to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to execute group sales promotions, campaigns, and customized packages to drive revenue.
  • Achieve or surpass sales and revenue targets specific to premium hospitality and group revenue.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective and existing clients, nurturing relationships to maximize retention, generate referrals, and deliver best-in-class service.
  • Attend Washington Spirit home matches, community events, and other local business networking functions to support game-night activities, entertain clients, and develop new prospects.
  • Manage prospect and client information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate reporting and effective pipeline management.
  • Support and assist ticketing and other departments as needed during events and matchdays, ensuring an exceptional experience for all clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, particularly in prospecting, appointment setting, and closing deals.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with corporate and group clients.
  • Ability to identify new sales opportunities and strategically develop group sales programs tailored to specific client needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering presentations and sales pitches.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a willingness to work outside regular business hours as needed.
